My Approach

At the heart of my work is the belief that we are wired for connection. When that connection feels threatened or out of reach, we begin to suffer. Whether you are struggling in your relationship or within yourself, therapy can be a space where you feel truly seen and supported.

I take a relational and emotionally focused approach, grounded in attachment theory. I believe that our patterns, even the ones that frustrate or confuse us, are often protective strategies. Together, we will slow things down, make sense of what is happening underneath, and build new experiences of connection, insight, and healing.

I do not offer surface-level tips or techniques. Instead, I create space for emotions to be safely explored. Change happens when we feel understood, not judged, and when we can stay present with ourselves and each other in moments that once felt too hard to touch.

In couples work, we focus on what is happening between you. Are you able to reach for each other? Do you feel emotionally safe? What lies beneath the frustration, the distance, or the silence? We will identify the cycles you are stuck in and begin the work of shifting those patterns into something more secure and connected.

In individual work, we explore your relationship to yourself and others. This includes how early relationships have shaped the way you move through the world. Therapy becomes a space to notice and try out new ways of being, with more flexibility and less fear.

Whether you are coming to therapy as a couple or on your own, my goal is to help you feel supported, grounded, and open to the possibility of change.

Teletherapy

All sessions are currently Telehealth.

I am mindful of the impact of "Teletherapy" and how some people may be skeptical. Early research on outcomes indicate no discernable difference between in-person and virtual treatment in terms of whether it helps you feel better.

It is of course up to the individual seeking therapy to decide if they prefer virtual or in-person treatment. Feel free to reach out regardless and I can provide some resources.
